...Good job stealing copyrighted music

And without even crediting Nintendo for the tracks you've stolen. :(
Gameplay wise, kinda crappy. Your ship is way too big, the enemy variety is almost nonexistant...
The two bosses are total failures. All you have to do for the first is stay at the top and shoot. You can't get hit. For second, you just have to ram the top screen while shooting and the boss will also ram the screen but not shoot...
No sound effects, either.

And the story was gettin' interestin'.

...I can see this goin' places when it is done.
No glitches to be seen...

Touhou-like. Just isn't done, though.

Well, this isn't actually bad.
If it had a way of subtracting lives/health other than the number at the top left. (My high score is -56, by the way). I wouldn't consider it a point system since it can only go down, though.
Music would be nice and...less clunky controls. The ship moves very slowly and sometimes fails at moving diagonally.
The invisible wall at the top area could be better defined, too.

AlexanderZero responds:

I guess I should have clarified, there's not score yet. That number goes down when the player is touching hazardous objects like bullets or enemy ships. Can you tell me which directions diagonally that the ship would stall on?

Very boring.

No music and no gameplay variance at all, just collecting falling eggs. I don't think they speed up at all and all the chickens act the same. Done before and this does nothing well.
Would've been a 1 if it weren't for the chickens gouging their eyes out when they hatched somethin' outta their ass.

Not bad.

The run up to enemy, press A repeatedly and move on to the next and use the special when surrounded does get a bit old, but I was surprised that there were four different "worlds". That makes the game a little bit deeper.
Unfortunately, it doesn't auto-save.
Also of note is that you can't access the options by using the pause menu. :(
There are scores but no way of saving them.

Cosmoseth responds:

I couldn't really find a need to save the game, other that to replay levels. So i decided it wouldn't be worth the extra work / file size

I....did it.

I beat it!
...And I had to do it WITHOUT attacking its weak point for massive damage. Because this thing has a lot of health and phases. Which is epic.
Had to use all of my continues, too...And it was worth it.
5/5. 10/10. Favourite'd.
This is ridiculously awesome.

Intricate...long...but easy.

Hoohah! Finally I finished tournament mode. This is the one Breakout game I've actually gotten into...!
That said, it's probably because it's pretty easy. It's extremely simple to farm for extra lives in Tournament Mode...actually, I had about 27 lives at the end of Tournament by just trying to go through it. Coins just come down easily...
This game really tries your patience though...
It actually got easier near the end as those invincible coin blocks started vanishing.
Fireball + Multi = Rape.
Bullet exists for shooting coin blocks, basically.

....Blah.

The colour scheme/point scheme makes no sense so you don't remember it.
You don't need to remember it though, just collect the balls.
Because there is no way to lose apparently, there is no point in different point values of the balls because there is no visible time limit.
...So there is no point in "beating your score" if you can't lose.
Also, there are no boundaries on the sides of the screens.
...Okay. After playing some more...
The purple balls all fall from the same column...as do all of the other colours.
So...
Just leave your basket under the yellow column.
....That defeats the purpose of the game, then.

Lordsalem responds:

Yeah, i made this game to really test what i knew in actionscript and uploaded it for feedback, but ok thanks for the review. Cant wait till you actually bring out a game.

...Reminds me of Big Rigs. <_<

You go through the freaking cars and trees dammit. <_<

frogger2k8 responds:

lol, tell me about it, its been a nightmare trying to get it to have a hit test that actually works, but i WILL get there, this is basically a... taste of whats to come.

...Hm.

358 kills, 4:24 time survived, 3.7 meters, final score 371.

Yet vastly repetitive. The only real way to make your pile go increase in height later on is to use the rare suction weapon, which makes the bodies pile on top. Otherwise, shooting people will just keep them below the pile, so could go 50 people killed without a single .1 of a meter increase in the pile.
One thing that was nice about the [rather useless] flamethrower was that the person who would be on fire would run around and put other people on fire. :o
However, where does the old ammo go when you pick up ammo for a new weapon? It just vanishes without a trace. :(
A good time waster...
Oh, and I like the HUD effect with the reddening.
